Entry requirements, fees, and how to apply for a Qualifications Scotland programme at Siam University.

Who is this for?

Our Qualifications Scotland programmes are designed for:

  • Recent secondary school leavers looking for a globally recognised higher education qualification in Bangkok
  • Students who want a clear pathway into a bachelor's degree — either at Siam University or overseas
  • International students seeking an English-medium qualification with SCQF recognition
  • Working adults considering part-time or flexible study (contact us for availability)

Entry Requirements

Entry is at SCQF Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent). The tables below show approximate equivalent qualifications by country. Students entering with Level 5 qualifications may be required to sit an English placement test and may receive additional academic support in Semester 1.

English Proficiency

All programmes are taught and assessed entirely in English. Students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate proficiency — typically IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. An English placement test is conducted prior to enrolment.

How to Apply

Enrolment policy: All students must enrol at the start of Semester 1. There is no lateral entry — it is not possible to join the programme in a later semester or year. Students may withdraw from the programme at any time.
  1. Enquire first — use the contact form or email us to confirm your eligibility and get current intake dates.
  2. Submit your application — via apply.siam.edu or directly through ICO.
  3. Provide documents — academic transcripts, identification, and English proficiency evidence if required.
  4. Receive your offer — conditional or unconditional offer from ICO.
  5. Enrol and pay fees — complete enrolment before the intake deadline.
Important: Final decisions on advanced entry, credit transfer, and recognition rest with the receiving university or professional body and vary by institution and country.
