Purpose

This form records the internal verification of an assessment instrument prior to its use. It confirms that the assessment has been reviewed for alignment with the Unit Learning Outcomes, the appropriateness of the assessment method, the clarity of candidate instructions, the adequacy of the marking criteria, and compliance with the quality assurance requirements of Qualifications Scotland. No assessment instrument should be issued to candidates until it has been approved through this process.
